Search for Eagles in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area & Upper Delaware Scenic River
Trips are held on various Sundays of Dec – March; this season’s trips will be held on 12/18/22, 1/8/23, 1/15/23, 1/29/23, 2/5/23, 2/12/23, 2/19/23, & 3/5/23. WEATHER PERMITTING.
Join Jack Padalino, President Emeritus of the Pocono Env. Education Ctr (PEEC) & the Paul F. Brandwein Institute, in a car caravan to search for eagles.
Face coverings and social distancing required
Dress warmly! Bring binoculars, field guides, and a lunch.
Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the PEEC parking lot, or at 10:00 a.m. at the north entrance to the Delaware Water Gap NRA (Route 209 south mile marker 20, Milford, PA). Trip will conclude along the Lackawaxen River at approximately 4:00 p.m.
An Eagle Identification Field Guide and a “Search for Eagles” activities publication will be provided by the Brandwein Institute. There is no fee for the trip or trip materials.
