The Avian Wildlife Center in Wantage has once again teamed with Brodhecker Farm to sell their black oil sunflower seed as a fundraiser. Simply go to Brodhecker Farm’s Store during their hours of operation to buy the seed and give them a coupon (see below) to specify that a portion of the sale should be for the Avian Wildlife Center fundraiser.

The Avian Wildlife Center is a wildlife rehabilitation center that treats all species of injured and orphaned wild birds with the goal of returning them healthy to the wild. It is licensed by state and federal authorities to do this work, but is funded through private donations and staffed by volunteers. Brodhecker Farm is one of Sussex County’s long-time family farms and raises their own sunflower crops.
